underwater trees
After 2 weeks of almost solid rain the sun finally came out again. The trees in the foreground were once an island, and the bridge in the background--barely out of water--usually has 16 feet of clearance not the 6 feet that it had on that day. Picture taken April 30, 2005 approximately 15 miles from the NC/GA border.

Here from Michele tonight--this A.M., I mean!
Nice shots Daisy. I mean all of them. I am a nature lover and I like collecting pictures like the ones you posted. Are you a professional photographer?
Btw, Michele sent me.
very nice shot. we've had very little sun too and i have been dying for some to come so i can get out and take some good outdoor shots. it was out for seconds today and there were some great opportunities with the iced over snow glistening in the sun but it didn't last long enough for me to get out there :(
came via michele and glad i did. i'm leaving my photoblog link with my name. check it out, let me know what you think. i'll be back.
I looked at all the photos on this page and they are all wonderful! Some are so close to where I live, too.
Michele sent me.
Lots of great pictures... thanks for sharing :)

Judy, yep. I live in the Triangle these days.
Tara, I just took a peek at your blog--I'll go back later tonight and look both it and your "wordy" one over at length. I like your self-portrait.
Marie, thanks! I'm no pro. I've never had any payment for a photograph nor object of art. More's the pity!
Naomi, thank you very much!
Michelle, I love your pictures also--and even more your location. Do you need any houseguests? LOL
I love all your photos very much. I take nature shots too. I hope to be as good as you some day!!
