2 versions of a sunrise
The picture above was taken 2 weeks ago on a lake in South Carolina. It also appears below. The difference is that the picture above hasn't been altered other than cropping. The picture below was adjusted using the automatic settings of the software package I was using.
I like the one above more but there's certainly some drama to the color of the sky in the one below. What do you think?

I like the top one the best! You get the best shots. I think a big part is your ability to get out there in the kayak and actually get "into" the scene instead of just standing on shore and watching.
