Stare down
This morning I took this picture from a door, cracked open slightly, and I guess the Cardinal caught my movement. A moment before his crest was down, but as you can see here--I got his most intimidating stare once he noticed me and my camera.

Wow - Fantastic shot....I can NEVER get them with the door open...they always fly away!
Sometimes a stare is worth a thousand words! I think your feathered friend is telling you off. :)
