mountain lake
This picture was taken a few days after the one I posted on January 14th, "A Bridge in the Snow". The weather had warmed up enough to let some of the snow melt but as you can see, there's still plenty in the upper mountains.
This photo was taken about 10 miles from Saranac Lake in the Adirondack Mountains.

Thanks, Michelle. That's one of my favorite places. It's just down the road from where my parents used to live. I only wish I had a better camera back then. This picture was taken with a 1.3 megapixel at max resolution.

PERFECT! It feels incredibly cold in there and my lungs are complaining about the crisp air....I miss the mountains...
