forest path


This is one of my favorite pictures from this trip. I love the changes in color from the panopy of the trees down to the rain damped path below. I took this photo on the way back from the waterfall pictured in the post below. By the time I was hiking out the rain had mellowed out to a fine mist...and under the trees you didn't even know it was there. If I hadn't been soaked to the skin it'd have been a wonderful walk.

I had a etching similar to that picture.I've always loved paintings
with paths. I sold one at a yard sale that looks like that picture.
However it was an autumm scene,i still miss that picture.Stop by for a visit

Thanks to both Michele and Michelle. I love the pictures on Michelle's blog but I don't recall ever seeing any on Michele's. There must be lots of lovely things to photograph in California, Michele.

Congratulations on winning our blog battle. I dont feel bad, because you photography is really great. Although these are static nature photos which often turn out boring, you make them seem interesting through the some magic of perspective.

I've been looking through your pictures and like a lot of them, but so far, this is my favorite. I too am drawn to shots of roads and trails and rails fading behind a turn that tends to draw my attention.
