trees before the rain
I am soaked. I was out hiking around a lake and got caught in a DELUGE! This was the next to last picture I took before the rain started. It's my favorite from the hike but I wish I'd been able to go further--or that I had a waterproof camera so I could have taken pictures of the rain also. f 3.2 for 1/30th of a second

That is so like a wood near us called Lagwood that it's spooky. Some more info on the wood would be appreciated, lovely photo.
Here from Michele's this evening.
Good shot and don't give up just cause its raining. I use a clear plastic bag and thick rubber bands to make a small rain coat for my camera when shooting in the rain. If you feel daring enough you can give it a shot.
Thanks for your positive feed back at my place today.
cheers,
P.
I love the green in this image. It's so rich and so lush.
Sigh...
I love this.....
Wouldn't it make an excellent jigsaw puzzle?? :-)

That is a wonderful picture. I love traipsing through the woods, especially in the spring and fall when the weather is nice and cool. Very inspiring picture. Visiting from Michele's!
Careful...looks like poison ivy is thriving on that tree in the foreground. The nasty stuff has taken over in my wooded backyard. I again would know that photo as NC in an instant. I'm really loving seeing your photos. Oh...and I got drenched in the backyard a bit ago as well.
Our Mom loves this green picture! She said it would get high marks on quality (she took a digital camera class today and learned about that stuff, she also learned her camera is obsolete and she wants a new one!! Ha, fat chance)
Oh, and we are buddies to Valdebar and our mom has a photo nature blog too and she said she has visted here before.
