It's kinda hard to comment on the picture above. There's just something about a bright red butt that escapes words. It's safer to use the picture below as a safe haven.  But in case you're curious--that red part is just callous, no nerves, which allows for comfortable sitting on hard surfaces as seen in the picture below.

It's amazing to me how different the facial features of a baboon are to we humans--and yet at the same time so similar. If you ignore how big the nose is, this could be Uncle Frank whom you've not seen in such a long time. Hi Frank!

They have such pretty hair, don't they?
