A Walk Down

I walked down this trail the other day to take some water pictures. I was hoping some rain we had recently would have given the stream enough omph to make it photogenic. Unfortunately the drought is still in full force and the picture below was the best I could find. Maybe in a few more weeks there'll be more water...

Pretty stream- we have something a little narrower right at the bottom of our property- it doesn't seem to be too affected by the drought- though I assure you we're in bad shape here in VA too- they said the other night that we were 13 inches below normal this year!
Michele sent me to check out your pictures- I loved the snake & so did my 8 year old son!

Those look like some of the pictures around here --- we're also in the middle of a water shortage -- lakes are at well below usual levels, all the farm land is drier than is good for the farmers (or the consumers' pockets!)

Nonetheless there is still beauty to be found everywhere!

Michele sent me this time,
N.

Who is this? What happened to Utenzi? Is that fungus down there the mushroom with chicken in the name that tastes like chicken?

We need rain too! I lost my potatoes to weeds and I can't weed and find them until we get some rain. Michele sent me here.

Oh gasp, the trees. The beautiful green, lucious trees... how I miss them! Where are you? This is beautiful, even if you are in a drought.

I have grown to love Idaho, but it lacks in green trees, that's for sure. At least in the Snake River Valley.

Thanks for visiting. :)

You've captured a beautiful scene, even with the water low. Hoping it will rain soon!
