September Moon

The moon a week ago. I took this picture from the steps of my back deck, between two trees. I stopped down the picture a bit so it looks darker than it really was. The moon was out quite early and low on the horizon.

butterfly snacking

Coming home from a soccer game--I was just watching--I saw this butterfly taking a late morning snack and decided she looked picture perfect. The small statue in the background adds a little something to the photo.
