Green Lizard

I took this picture 2 years ago. While it looks very tropical it was actually taken at the side of my parent's house in South Carolina. It was a hot sultry summer day and I'd just gotten back from kayaking. I love the leaves on this plant and was looking at them when up popped this lizard. I took over 20 pictures of it before it tired of the attention. This is the one I liked best.

OK, this stopped me in my tracks! I can't stop looking. The greens are so vibrant! And how nice of him to pose for you! :)

Wonderful shot!

Love the green on green.
I just can't help thinking Kermit the Frog when I see this shade of green. He is a patient fellow. We have big brown ones and little black ones with rainbow colored stripes.

This could seriously be a poster. I'm not sure what I like best: the overall green cast, or the water droplets.

OK, both!

Can't help thinking how all creatures in nature jell so well except . . . .alas!
